The Company
The Dancentre is the official training center for the Pine Belt Ballet Company, making quality classical
ballet available to the area and affording talented students the opportunity to perform publicly in major
quality. Pupils gain poise and experience through public appearance. Motivation is a key factor in the
development of a dancer, and exposure to the environment of a professional production offers
immeasurable inspiration to the students, motivating them to strive for greater achievement. PBBC's
spectacular productions have become treasured traditions. Students are eligible to audition for roles
in classic ballets such as Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Coppelia, Firebird, Haunted Ballroom,
Cinderella, LeCorsaire, Nutcracker, and this year's newest addition to the repertoire, Snow Maiden.
This experience allows talented young dancers throughout the area to further their development by
participating in a serious environment with a common purpose.
